Our past

Gordon H Richards has been based in the North Wales area since 1930, initially distributing slate from the Welsh slate quarries from the quay in Caernarfon, back when we dealt directly with Lord Penrhyn. Since those early days, natural roofing slate has always been a huge part of what Gordon H Richards has been about, with Welsh slate always featuring as a key component.

Our present

Nowadays, we occupy a large distribution centre in Glan Conwy in the Conwy valley, just a couple of minutes from the A55 and Llandudno Junction. We also work with several spanish quarries directly, to bring a selection of competitive and readily available slates to our range. Gordon H Richards ensure our suppliers comply with all relevant British and European standards and offer a full complement of roofing materials including tiles, ridges, flat roofing, GRP roofing and EPDM roofing components.
