The Stoneleaf Barco is a natural roof slate with a fine textured surface, blue black in colour with some visible mineral inclusions.
The Barco has proved popular with roofers due to its ease of fixing. With an approximate thickness of 5mm and excellent regularity it has fast become the go to slate for refurbishment and repairs.
Due to the regular thickness of the slates the weight per square metre is approximately 31kg and is, therefore, lighter than many other slates, which can lead to cost savings.
